Supreme x Nike Air Max DN
Honestly, I was pretty excited to try out this new model & it's one of the main reasons I scooped this collab up after the drop. Normally, I'll wait a bit when a new model comes out, but after seeing some on feet pics from @taylumley , I grabbed 'em.
Materials: the upper of this pair is pretty unique & reminds me of both the AM97 & AM270 (kinda 270, but more so 97) The upper is made of a black nylon with a rubber pattern t/o the upper that gives it a wave/futuristic aesthetic imo. On the lateral side of both pairs, you'll see the Supreme logo that starts at the toe & ends at the heel. Below the logo & on the back heel is a dark green dimpled pattern encapsulated by a plastic window. On the back heel there's an AM DN logo w/ Supreme branding below. Lastly & my favorite feature is where the air unit is bc the rubber wraps around the bubbles similar to bulldozer tracks & even has a track-like pattern. (Side Note, they snuck in some Supreme branding between the bubbles that can be seen depending on the angle) Overall, this was a nice intro to this model, but truthfully, I'm pretty excited for some of the GR pairs releasing soon too.
Comfort/Sizing: this model is pretty comfortable on foot. The front of your feet rests on a thick layer of soft foam that has molded nicely to my feet with 3 wears. The bubble on the heel adds another feeling of squish with a subtle, firm feel. For sizing, I went up a half size (8.5) and out of the box, they fit perfectly, but the more they've broken in, there's a little extra room in the toe. I personally would still go up a half size from your TTS unless you want a snug fit.
Overall Opinion: I feel like this is one of Nike's best new designs to the AM line in a while. This sneaker is not only comfy, but looks really nice on feet as well. I'm not real big on the Supreme branding down the side of them, but it still has a clean overall feel to it imo. I personally am looking forward to seeing what Nike does with this model and will definitely be grabbing a pair or 2 on Air Max Day.
