First up, could you please introduce yourself?
My name Is Brasco and I'm a 44-year-old collector currently living in Dusseldorf, Germany. I'm a father to a lovely 3-year-old daughter who is following in my footsteps of collecting sneakers.
How many pairs do you currently have? Are you planning on keeping that number steady or growing/decreasing it?
Currently, at home, I have around 400 pairs which keep increasing, unfortunately…
Do you remember what your first pair of sneakers that you really cared about was?
I do. It was the Air Max 1 Red in 1987 when I was 8 years old.
Are there any brands in particular that you enjoy, and why is that?
Most pairs in my collection are from Nike but so I would guess Nike is still the brand that attracts me most, most likely due to growing up in the golden era of Nike sneakers.
Do you usually buy sneakers in physical stores or online?
I try to buy as much in-store to support my local store but unfortunately nowadays online is the only option.
Have you bought anything in 2023 so far?
I have indeed bought several pairs in 2023—more than I expected to be honest.
What is your favourite pair in your collection?
Nike Air Raid 2 Peace Edition from 1992.
